Hi! I’m Nicholas Ngorok (go by Nick). I’m currently an engineering manager at Twitch for the Data Infrastructure team. My interests lie in leadership, data and distributed systems. These subjects comprise most of my blog posts. I’m using Blot to power this blog. It allows me to focus solely on my posts in Markdown but gives me the flexibility to customize the pages whenever I’d like to.

This blog’s name serves as both a reminder to me and perhaps to you, to endeavor to vacillate less. As Bernhard Langer said, “Be decisive. A wrong decision is generally less disastrous than indecision.”
